UM, about your creator…..
My name is Joella, and I am the founder and creative director of Username Marketing.
I am a first-generation college graduate who takes pride in my Spanish, Indigenous, and other mixed roots. My native language intensifies my passion for art, and my cultural values influence the deeper craving for purpose that translates into my creative work.
I feel part of my mission is to help others discover their “Why?” This goes beyond a brand's creative vision; it involves introspection and deeper analysis. It is the discovery of the missing seed that needs watering to grow its roots in creative routes.
In academia, I obtained a bachelor’s in international business, a minor in finance, and a degree in psychology. I believe my passion for marketing and psychology enhances every brand’s unique mission by implementing a creative and behavioral analytical approach to marketing and branding.
Why me?
It seems in the creative market, it has become popular for many social media managers or marketing creators to favor the concept of exploring a large number of accounts in a generalized manner rather than focusing on one to three accounts to tailor visions and more deeply understand their client’s distinctive personality and mission. The lack of research and interest in understanding a brand’s values may often result in generalized marketing materials that lack authenticity and personable creative direction, and by extension, cause a misalignment of the client’s creative vision.
I am not here to say choose me over others with more experience or who already manage to create content for thousands of accounts. Still, I will say that if you value quality over quantity and a deeper analysis of your brand’s values, then we may have something in common.
Any Hobbies?
I am a lover of outdoor adventure! I am a FUR parent who cherishes sunset hikes with my Siberian husky, Zena, and yoga sessions with my Siamese, Zimba... Also, I enjoy kayaking, jet skiing, and my absolute favorite, horseback riding.
